# Resend

Resend is a service for sending email. Once you connect it, your assistants can see what you sent recently and draft the next campaign with that history in mind. Nothing goes out until you press Approve.

The Marketing assistant is the one that works with campaigns. Like every persona except the Coder, it is Coming soon. Once Resend is connected, the connection is also visible to the CEO assistant, so it can brief the right assistant when you ask for a campaign.

## Setup (when it opens)

1. In Resend, create a sending token. Give it permission to send email and nothing broader.
2. Open [Integrations](https://stellarfirm.ai/app/integrations) in StellarFirm.
3. Pick Resend.
4. Paste the sending token into the field.
5. Press Connect.

StellarFirm shows only that a token is saved. It never shows the token again, so keep your own copy in a safe place.

## Permissions

- Reading your recent sends and drafting a campaign needs no Approve. Drafts live in your StellarFirm workspace until you decide.
- Sending is a step that reaches other people, so it always stops at your Approve, even when other categories are set to Auto-approve in Settings. Sending also stays off until you allow it, so connecting Resend alone never lets an assistant send.

## Good to know

- Use a token that can only send. If you ever want to stop access, delete the token in Resend and disconnect Resend in StellarFirm.
- Ask the assistant to show the recipients and the full text before you approve. That check takes seconds and is the best habit for any send.
- Resend and [SendGrid](/docs/integrations/sendgrid) do the same job. Most people connect one.
